The inaugural issue of High Tea — a modern drinking zine, in digital form.
High Tea has been notoriously mislabeled in the United States. Historically the tea was for working class folks, served in the late afternoon and early evening at high tables — or what the bar world likes to call high boys. It was a far cry from the fancy afternoon tea of finger sandwiches and Champagne. Rather, high tea consisted of a hearty meal, very little alcohol and post meal enjoyment of plants, flowers, and herbs.
Today, that’s exemplified in modern drinking, evolved bar carts, and the High Tea Zine.
